Aubrey had his next adult birthday on the way home from work one evening. It did rain, but at least Aubrey is happy with his life and as a doctor and family with no midlife crisis for him.
He’s been doing some outreach with work and new medical equipment for the island’s hospital. Which has him making a few new friends around town.
Mercedes also had her birthday one evening into adult but she did get a mid-life crisis to deal with. Apparently her accomplishments so far are not enough for her.
Regardless of her mid-life crisis, Mercedes does want another child with Aubrey. And they do spend time together between work and their current children.
Lucien has a line to hold him and change him many times with the bots and his parents quick to line up for him.
The bots still play with Elena as well even with the new baby to play with too.
Soon enough it was Lucien’s first birthday and his mother took him to the cake. Lucien is another one with the purple hair.
It was also Elena’s birthday celebration that she was going to be a grown child and start school. Her favorite plumbot LizzieB took her to the cake while the family cheered.
Grace is still living and learning. She’s gotten better at the guitar and is now entertaining ghosts in the late evening.
Mercedes teaching little Lucien to talk, she’s a bit more interested in teaching Lucien then she was with Elena.
Mercedes and Aubrey are still trying to have a 3rd child. And Mercedes may be expecting or the food she ate was off as she was cleaning up.
Mercedes also have made changes to the house and then had to make changes to herself starting with a hair cut.
Tragedy touched the family as death finally came for Grace. Grace lived longer than anyone in her family has and she still begged for longer but was denied. Her death has hit the family hard.
In her grief, Mercedes is having puking fit. Interrupting everyone’s time in the bathroom to get to a toilet in time.
Lucien get’s started on learning to walk by BonnieB the family’s oldest plumbot. She’s a very helpful bot to have around. Through in the end Aubrey finishes teaching him to walk and starts in on potty training.
Mercedes is confirmed to be pregnant. And she spends her pregnancy writing another book and starting on another painting of her husband now that he has been promoted to head surgeon of the hospital. The painting is where is mastered her artistic skills. She’s also started the family skills of creating elixirs with alchemy.
The grief has been rough on Mercedes and her and Aubrey have had a few disagreements, but eventually made it though the tough time together and he was able to tell that they were expecting a girl.
Mercedes accomplished her lifetime goal of illustrated author and finished her 9th book.
Mercedes does make sure Lucien is kept fed even if she not the most attentive at the toddler stage on her children. She’s even been helping Elena with her home work when she gets home from school.
Aubrey and Mercedes do like their children and have animated discussions what they are up to as well.
Aubrey despite being the head surgeon at the hospital and achieving his lifetime goal and being cool under presser at work, had a melt down at Mercedes’s latest labor pains. She handled it well and went to the hospital by herself. Aubrey did show up but then was called away to an different medical emergency, so Mercedes and baby Morrighan went home by taxi.
Aubrey does share in caring for little Morrighan. She’s pretty much doted on in the house.
Kristen always thought she’d get married like all of her older siblings and then move out. But her dates never show up for the date. So, she still hanging around solo.
For some reason, Aubrey had a brief feelings that Mercedes was cheating on him for no reason at all. It’s not like Mercedes goes out and meets people. She makes sure her babies are fed and then works on her next book or working on alchemy, and everyone in the home is related to her. Through he did work through it and they are still together.
Elena still has fun with LizzeB with pillow fights around the house. She is happy that her parents bought her a costume box to play with as well.
Mercedes is coming along with her alchemy skills and started creating elixirs along with reading up on new alchemy elixirs. She’s pretty good at creating skill boosters and friendship elixirs. Although, she may need to take a break from alchemy as she’s gotten ill.
Mercedes is almost through with her mid-life crisis and decided on changing her clothes a little bit and seems happy about it. Then went to work on her 10th book that is current goal to accomplish.
It turned out that Mercedes is expect one more child. She did pregnant rather quickly this time.
It was sad when Grace died and I lost count after she reached 120 days since she lived far past the days she should have and still wasn’t ready to go.
