3.4 Living fast forward

Grace wanted to take another trip to the future for some supplies. This time she brings Lyndsey with her again, so that when she returns to the present she won’t be older than Lyndsey is. Right now both of them are same age. It was late on their arrive and both opted to sleep first before going their separate ways for the day.

While Lyndsey stays at the hotel working out on the new exercise machines, Grace heads out to find emotion flowers. She needs several to make an emotion chip for her plumbots and the plant at home isn’t growing quick enough. She also picks up a few rare nanites to take apart for parts.

Grace with her supplies head to the bot labs. She makes a new bot to practice and equips him with a few new chips. Grace then proceeds to sell him for a profit as she doesn’t really need another bot to bring home. Then spends another day fully mastering the bot building skill and learning all that she can about how to build them and all the trait chips.

Grace and Lyndsey made it safely home once again. They enjoyed a romantic night in with the bots still taking care of the children.

Grace takes her knowledge and goes to create a sentience chip for the plumbots. She was also going to make a new future tech bot to put the chip in but had to run to the bathroom first.

Once Grace is feeling better, she does create a new bot for the family. The newest one is LizzieH. She was quick to befriend Lizzie and then proceeded to install some trait chips. However, it seems that Lizzie is not quite high tech enough yet to insure that Grace is the founder of the plumbots.

Although, there are now three bots in the house, BarbaraB is the favorite for Anne to ask for help with homework and her favorite to hang out with.

Grace went and purchased her lottery ticket with information from the future like she wants to do every time she visits the future. She also found out that she’s expecting again.

Grace keeps busy during this pregnancy with other tasks. Her agent has her work out to keep her body tone during her pregnancy. She also finds time to spend with her son David. She still finds time to play with Bit her digital pet.

Lyndsey finally earned another promotion at work. She’s slowing working her rank up to astronaut. They even gave her a book to help with this next rank. She does de-stress after work with pillow fights with the bots.

Lyndsey on her off days from work keeps all of the plumbing fixtures working and has been working her way through upgrading them to self cleaning. She’s worked so hard there that she’s mastered the handiness skill.

Grace was working on her magic skills when she went into labor. She took herself to the hospital on her hoverboard. She mastered the skill on the way there so that now she’s a master of future tech. By mastering that skill she finished her life-time wish.

Grace brings home a new baby girl named Mercedes. She was quick to drop her off in the nursery and see if she couldn’t get LizzieH improved to future tech quality.

Anne keeps herself busy. She’s starting learning chess and chemistry to work on her logic abilities taking a break from painting. David is a happy toddler with his blocks.

Soon it was David’s birthday and his current favorite person in the house is BonnieB. He is a handsome boy if a bit of a bookworm now.

Grace shared the wonders of advance technology by gifting him an extra digital pet she had picked up in the future. He seems to enjoy Wendi.

Grace collected some bugs she needed to make a few more elixirs. It’s been awhile since she listed any at the store to sell and she did want to create some.

Grace got around to working on LizzieH again trying to to figure out where she went wrong in creating a sentient plumbot. This time she figured it out and managed to get all the pieces in correctly. The time traveler stopped in to congratulate her in her accomplishment in being awarded The Pioneer of Plumbotics.

She was so excited about it that she made a quick trip to the future to see her statue in the legacy park. And of course pick up another winning lotto number. She’s quite pleased with all that she was accomplished. On returning home, she disabled the time portal and put it away since she didn’t want to changing anything else.

The rest of family didn’t miss the time portal much and had kept themselves busy. Lyndsey played catch with the plumbots. Anne went back to painting. David has taken up writing when he takes a break from reading everything.

With all of her life goals finished, Grace finds new things to do. She’s taken an interest in Mercedes’s care. She also attends parties like one that Gabe Ruth invited her to. Her agent also kept her busy with drink promotions and dancing promotions around town.

Grace even has lazy days with her wife on Lyndsey’s days off from work. After sending the kids off to school after a late breakfast. Even some luck charms are cast for fun.

A party was held for Mercedes’ birthday. There was a brief dispute of who would take her to the cake as Grace had her but ended up letting LizzieH take her to the cake. Mercedes is a cute toddler.
